Design for ski resort in Finland

This project is a complex design for Lumivälo Ski Resort. “Lumivälo” is a fictional ski resort and retreat in Finland, representing a typical Finnish ski resort. The challenge was that many people are unaware that skiing in Finland is an option, even though it can be as beautiful and sometimes even better than other European resorts. Ski resorts there are less crowded, calmer, and you can really relax both physically and mentally and enjoy nature.

Goal

The challenge was that many people are unaware that skiing in Finland is an option, even though it can be as beautiful and sometimes even better than other European resorts. Ski resorts there are less crowded, calmer, and you can really relax both physically and mentally and enjoy nature. Also there is a longer winter season compared to many Central European resorts. Besides skiing, Finnish resorts also often include activities like north sled dogs sledding and other outdoor adventures. So, my goal was to create a unique brand identity for Lumivälo that would be different from other Finnish resorts and design other materials such as merch, maps, ski passes, brochures, social media content, and the website concept.
