‘The Master and Margarita’ is a production at the Workshop theatre in St. Petersburg. Inspired by the production, as part of a course on creative layout by Anya Melnik at the Kirshin and Vasiliev school, I made this website. I started with a bright layout, close to the style of Soviet posters, and eventually came to a dark site with bright red accents. I paid a lot of attention to typography - the arrangement of texts, working with the font, which plays a central role on some screens. Black and white photos coloured in red, pencil drawings, a flying witch and a driving tram - all this is about my Master and Margarita.
